Air Cargo
SEARIDERS™
maintains a network of agents/offices literally all over the world. At last
count, we cover over 137 airports and seaports outside the United States.
This means that your shipment's movements are controlled by SEARIDERS™ from
Origin to Destination and all costs can be calculated in advance.
SEARIDERS is an FAA approved IAC (Indirect Air Carrier)
SEARIDERS™ maintains relationships with the world's major airlines and can
secure rates that are, in many cases, lower than those offered to the general
public. The simple reason for this is based upon the fact that we represent
many different customers and, while each individual customer may not have
the volume that will get an air carrier's attention, the aggregate of all
the cargo we move definitely does.
Most air carriers have two sets of rates. The first is The Air Cargo Tariff
or TACT for short. TACT rates are those offered to the general public and
are generally high. The other sets of rates are those offered to Freight Forwarders
and High Volume shippers. These rates may change on a daily basis, depending
upon market conditions but are substantially lower than the TACT rates.
SEARIDERS™ accesses these lower rates and, depending upon the customer's requirements
for service and transit time, selects the most economical carrier consistent
with service requirements, prepares all required documentation, and moves
the shipment to destination. Seariders can also insure your goods on a door
to door basis at very attractive rates, all in the same quote.
Whether we're chartering a complete aircraft to move a team of television
reporters and equipment to cover a major news event or just picking up a few
cartons of cellular phones for a customer in Africa, SEARIDERS™ has the experience
and the ability to get the job done, economically, and on time.
